I'm tracing back a couple of generations of Spices of Sussex here so if you know any details of the following people please reply and we can share any information we may have. Robert Spice (b1638) married Mary Bayly (b1640) in 1660. They had a son named Robert Spice (b1662) who married in 1688 to Elizabeth Wicker (b1664) and they had another son named John Spice (b1690). John married Martha Waghorne (b1692) in 1718 and they had a son named William Spice (b.1725). William married (1753) Ann Dengate (b.1727) and had a son named John Spice (b1754). He married Mary Collyer (b1752) in 1777 and they had a son, Saul Spice. Saul was born in 1789 in Salehurst, Ssx, England. I know he had brothers and sisters. Saul married Sarah (Betsy) Spice in 1812 and they moved to Australia in 1830. If you know of any details of these generations please let me know. |
