Member Since: October 2004 Posts: 2 Send Message	Looking for the parents of James Pattinson/ Pattison born Newcastle under Lyme 1801 and his wife Mary Steel born Hopton ( Staffs?)1802. They had five children; Sarah 1825, Elizabeth 1826, William 1828, Ann 1830, James 1836 and Mary 1842. Later generations changed the name to Pattison so I'm not sure whether the extra 'n' was a blip or the original spelling. There are loads of Pattisons in Newcastle at that time but I can't figure out any likely candidates for siblings or parents. Any guidance gratefully received Joe (Francis) Pattison
