I am looking for information on James Newitt born in Long Buckby Northants in 1851. His wife was Sarah (I believe) born possibly 1855. They had one son when they were in Long Buckby John in 1878and they then moved to Leicester where several more children were born, amoung them my Grandmother Daisy Florence Gertrude Newitt in 1886. I would be grateful for any information about them. I think Sarah had a sister called Ellen although it may be possible that Ellen born in 1870 was in fact the eldest of James and Sarah's children. Yes she was Ellen was the eldest Followed by Annie and then John William. Further to this message, I have now found that James married Rhoda Townsend and they had several children born in Long Buckby, James died around 1931 and was buried in Leicester, Rhoda died before him. |
