Hi Rosemary,

A belated reply, even though I've no knowledge of your two cousins. What I do have is the date and place of Charles Reginald's baptism, and the fact that he married Ivy M.OAK at Cambridge Register Office in the 1st quarter of 1921 I haven't extracted details of RIGGS births beyond 1920 as yet, so can't tell you the names or birth registration details of their children, I'm sorry.

If you visit my website at www.riggs.org.uk, and scroll down toward the bottom, you'll see a button to link you to a .pdf file that shows your grandfather and his ancestors on the RIGGS side, together with their siblings and spouses.

Which of his other 4 sons was your father? Was THR your father or your uncle, because he was decorated in WW1 !

I'd be very grateful if you could let me know details of any brothers or sisters you may have, and of your uncles and their wives (presumably since you say you only have two cousins you don't know of any children your other uncles may have had.

Naturally, I'd acknowledge that you were the source of any information I'm able to add to this chart.

Many thanks

Geoff Riggs (no relation, but researching RIGGS worldwide)

Henley-on-Thames RIGGS family: My grandfather Thomas Riggs b. 1862 had 6 sons by his first wife(name unknown to me). One of them was my uncle 'Robin' Riggs (perhaps actually Charles R.?), born ca 1898 in Henley on Thames. I was told ' they called him The Colonel, that he had moved to London, had a pub, was married and had two daughters' (in the 1930s). Can anyone help me find these two only cousins of mine or perhaps their descendants? Rosemary Riggs Bernhard
