EMILY SAXON I'm looking for links to other people's trees and information about my grandmother's family. She was born in Heywood, Lancashire in 1906 and married John Walsh from Cork, Ireland. They had eight children including my mother. My grandmother's family disowned her after the marriage as John was a Catholic( and also about 22 years older than Emily!). My mother vaguely recalls seeing someone called Alice Saxon who could either have been Emily's mother or sister. From my own research I think Emily's parents were called ROGER SAXON (c1882) and ALICE HANNAH COL(E)MAN (c1872) but would like this confirmed before spending more time tracing these particular branches back further. |

Please view my tree. I have an Alice from Lancashire. She was Methodist but married a Catholic. |
