I have a William Cowie in my tree married to a Dora Robson. He also married an Ellen Brown.Are you sure yours was born in Scotland?

MY GREAT-GRANDAD WAS WILLIAM COWIE BORN IN 1871 IN SCOTLAND,HE MARRIED DORA ROBSON BORN IN 1890 IN CO DURHAM, THEY HAD 6 CHILDREN EVA 1907,JAMES 1904,THOMAS 1909,EDWARD 1910, WILLIAM 1912,PETER 1913 , I DONT KNOW WHERE THEY WERE BORN EITHER SCOTLAND OR COUNTY , I THINK THERE WERE THREE MORE CHILDREN BUT NOT SURE DURHAM. MY GRANDAD PETER CAME TO LEEDS BUT I DONT KNOW WHEN. WHERE HE MARRIED ALICE SHEPHERD AND THEY HAD 7 CHILDREN, I HAVE A VERY LARGE FAMILY HERE IN LEEDS BUT DONT KNOW ANTHING ELSE ABOUT MY GRANDADS FAMILY OUTSIDE LEEDS CAN ANYONE HELP.THANKS
