	Hi Kim I have a very large family of Gates. Most of them came from Hastings and Ninfield in East Sussex, I do know though that at least one moved to Kent and raised a family there. I can open up my tree for you if you wish. Best wishes Eric Gates

Member Since: August 2004 Posts: 11 Send Message	I have just started looking into my father's side of the family and have not got very far!!!!! Info at the moment is that my grandfather Frederick Gates was born in Tunbridge Wells, siblings were called Thomas, Arthur, George, Mary, Annie and Elizabeth, not sure if there were anymore? Their father was also a Frederick Gates, my grandfather married Grace Kathleen Florence Till also of Tunbridge Wells, and that is where it all ends for me. Can anyone out there help?? Cheers
