Hi Anne,
Not sure if this is the way to make contact but I don't have a current email address for you.

I seem to have finally located my PITT lineage by way of a DNA hint on Ancestry. We communicated a long time ago about my relation John Thomas Pitt born in Kidderminster to a James Pitt in 1857. I found a James Pitt and Jane Haile marriage link and a son James born in 1829. That led back to Benjamin Pitt and Sarah Hinton, Thomas Pitt and Elizabeth Coates and if a familysearch list is correct https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LBPV-XN9 - right back to a John Pitt and 1501 (probably a bit iffy but.......). I think we may be distantly related now as well.

At least I can tell my 89 year old aunt she has history!

Cheers,
Derek Thom

Please search on Google for my website called 'Pitt, Corbett & Cooksey Family Website'. There are lots of details of all three names, either my family, or other names that I found in my searches but which turned out to be not connected to me. Anne Ursell (nee Pitt) www.bigglesgb.com
