My GGF John Grime(s)died in Atherton Lancashire, 6th April 1926, age - 78 years. He married Elizabeth Higham at Wesleyan Chapel, Pennington, Leigh - 12 April 1868, both lived in Atherton. He was 20yrs. She was 19yrs. Elizabeth was the daughter of Richard & Ann Molyneux - m. 13th Nov. 1842 - Leigh Parish Church. 1881, 1891& 1901 Census John was born in Atherton. 1871 C says Ulverston. Not found on 1861 or reg. of his birth - 1847/48. Searching for John's birth or baptism. When he married his father Thomas was deceased. Information greatly appreciated on John's mothers name and marriage of Thomas or siblings. Sheila Sivill |
