CHAPMAN Looking for any relatives of my Grandmothers brother whose name is George Chapman born around 1905 in the district of West Ham. I believe he married a lady called Doris and they lived in Bishops Stortford, Suffolk and worked for the Water Works. His parents were Ernest Herbert and Susan Emma Chapman nee Manley, and his brothers and sisters names are Florence Susan Maud, Rose Louisa, Elsie, Lily Julia (my nan), Fred and Daisy. I have been told that when there mother died in 1910, the children were all sent to children's homes, for some reason there father never continued to look after them. I would love to hear from anyone who may have this connection or know anything of the whole Chapman family. Lynne-Canvey Island, Essex. |
