If anyone knows someone called Ellen Earle (born 1910 from Lancashire) who married Harry Stansfield from Manchester and had a daughter named Joan, I would be eternally grateful to hear from you. Her brother was Sam and father was govenor at Strangeways Prison in Manchester. She married again and I believe had more children. Update - Ellen was born 21/05/1911 in Stockport - Father John James Earle and Mother Agnes Hancock. Ellen went on to marry again and apparantly had 4 more children one called Alan Austin Stansfield (may be a different surname now). If anyone has any news of this family please get in touch. |
