Knight, Sheepshead, Leics. Trying to unravel a puzzle concerning a possible change of name from Thomas Knight to Thomas Waldram.Hannah Knight, widow with three sons, John, Thomas and Robert born Sheepshead, married Daniel Waldram some time after 1855.The middle son, Thomas is reputed to have changed his name to Waldram, although his marriage cert gives his fathers name as Richard Waldram, and his own as Thomas Waldron,Richard is untraceable so far.Very confusing!Can find details of Robert Knight that follow on, but totally unable to make sense of who might be the boys real father.Help please! |
