Trying to find Rees

Hello. I'm trying to find information about my father's side of the family. He was Eric Walter Rees, born 1925; brother to Charlie, Ted, Harry and Edna - all mostly in the Portsmouth area, but I think with some connections in Glossop. His dad and mum were Edwin Walter and Florence Hannah. I think Florence Hannah had a sister called Linna, married to Harry who fought in the civil war in Spain(???). I have a variety of cousins with whom I've lost touch - Coral, Valerie, Susan and Trevor; Christine, Tony; Catherine, Gwendolyn, Eileen,Robert. I have a sister, Avril. Our mum was alwaysknown as Peggy. I believe dad's dad would have been born in the 1880s. Any ideas? Many thanks. |
