Member Since: February 2005 Posts: 0 Send Message	I am currently trying to an uncle of mine, Michael - which I have never met and only found out about recently! I know he was adopted, by Charles and Minnie Marsh. I don't know Minnie's maideb name. Michael was either born on or adopted on 13/08/1934. Unfortunatly, Charles and Minnie split up, Charles later remarried Rose Foster in London and Minnie left to go back to her family with Michael, never to be seen or heard of again! Charles then had two children with Rose. Charles Marsh was born in Grantham, Lincolnshire, and it is believed that Minnie was born in the Lincolnshire area. Charles later moved down to London, with Minnie, where he worked as a shop keeper. It is believed that Minnie did not like London life and returned to lincolnshire, possibly hoping that Charles would join her, but he never did. Charles was born to Alfred Marsh and Sarah Jane (Ginnie) Lawton in 1906 and had a sister Eleanor born 1903 - she ran a farm with her husband Tom in Grantham, Lincs. Anyone who has any information or thinks that they may be a relation of the Grantham Marsh's, please contact me!
