Pikes of West Hartlepool - George Pike born Altrincham c1857 must have moved to W.Hartlepool at some point and married Elizabeth Hannah Taylerson Dob 1859 Stockton. On 1881 census they lived Stranton, Durham with eldest child Harriet and newborn son (no name). Possibly 6 further children - Henry dob c1883, Nellie dob c1888, poss twins Claren/Jennie dob c1892, Frank dob c1894 and Fred dob c1896. George was a Yeast Agent on 1901 census - had a little shop selling yeast and Harriet worked in it. Interested to contact any relatives of Harriet, who was my husband's Grandmother, to learn more about the family. George poss. died 1910 - don't know about his wife Elizabeth. Any Pikes of West Hartlepool area out there ?
