Trying to find Mayes

I would be very interested to hear from any one with a connection to the Mayes family that lived in the Rows in Yarmouth. My paternal great-great grandfather was John Mayes, a shoemaker, b1801 and who married Mary Ann Collins in 1833 at St Nicholas Parish Church. They had three sons of whom I am so far aware, George Wicks Mayes, my great grandfather, who was a baker, James Collins Mayes b1835 and William b1853. George married Caroline Mary O'Connor Payne in 1868 at the same church. Her father was Robert Christmas Payne b1814 from Halstead in Essex. George and Caroline raised 11 children, my grandfather Charles being their eighth child. The family moved to Beccles circa 1877 where George died in 1892 aged 46. In 1895 Caroline moved back to Yarmouth and married her brother-in-law James, who was a widower and a retired prison warder, having served at Parkhurst and Dartmoor prisons where his sons James, George, Frederick and Edward had been born to his first wife Jane Elizabeth Heberdon who died in 1886 aged 49. James died in 1920 aged 85 and Caroline in 1935 aged 87. Janet Franklin (nee Mayes)
