Hi I do not have information on your family of Pryce but have heard of them as my family owned Plas until 1997 and Iived there 1969 although I lived away. Would you like a photograph of the house? |

Hi I'm trying to find out about my Granny's grandfather. She has fond memories of him, but knows very little about him. He was born in 1846. He was a farmer, and the farm was called Plas, in Cwmnantymeichiad near Llanfyllin in Montgomery. At the time of 1881 Census he gives his surname as Pryce, but he was also known as Price. His first wife was Mary Lloyd born about 1851. She died between 1881 and 1885, we think it might have been due to a complication with pregnancy or birth. He then remarried to Sarah Evans who was born in 1862. They had one daughter, Letitia who was born in 1886. I'd love to know more about any of the family. If anyone has got any information they may think is relivant please let me know. Thank you Jenny |
