My branch of the Allisons were from Dunham and surrounding area, not far from Retford, in Nottinghamshire. I have the records of well over one hundred living in this part of the county in the 19th century. Some moved to the Sheffield area in the latter part of that century. If any other Allisons reading this also originated from that area please contact me to see if there are any common links. David Allison. |
