Member Since: September 2004 Posts: 2 Send Message	Archibold Snedden, married to a Mary Jane Wareham, Lived in 9 Nelson St. Birkenhead 1877. Archibold Snedden I understand was a blacksmith in the area. He died prior to his son William Hendry Sneddon married on 29/10/1905. William Hendry Sneddon was born 22/9/1877. William Hendry was dis-owned by his father as he joined the South Lancs Regiment and went off to India and stayed there till 1939 on the outbreak of war. He died 1/1/1950 and is buried at Hawkinge Cemetary Nr Folkestone Kent under the white military cross. I would be gratfull for any other information on Archiebold & Mary Jane Snedden. I have a bundle of information on Archibald Snedden and have been able to trace his family back a couple of generations. Archibald Snedden married Mary Jane Warerham 4th November 1876 at St Catherine's Church Birkenhead. His father was a James Snedden and her father was an Adam Wareham. One of Archibald's children was a Mary Ellen Sneddon - note change of spelling. She was my maternal grandmother. Lots more information if you get in touch. Dave
