Grimley on record as Grimbly. Martha Handley 40 b.1841? Hallow Worcs Charles 20 b.1861? Grimley. canal labourer George 17 b.1864? Grimley. barge boat boy Sarah 14 b.1867? Grimley. Scholar Thomas 12 b.1869? Grimley John 9 b.1872? Grimley Alice 7 b.1874? Hallow Worcs England Alfred 4 b. 1877? Hallow Worcs. Julia Handley My g/granma was christened at Grimley parish Church 01 July 1855. She was staying at an "Orphanage" Paddlebrook House in Grimley (Sinters Green) at the time. Her mother was Esther Handley (no Dad) Esther's dad was James as was g/dad. James 2 also had Edward b.24 Dec 1832 & possibly Ellen 21 jan 1838. The ? is, can anyone find the connection between the two families above?
