I am looking for any information on WILLIAM HENRY RUSSELL - name variation RUFFEL - RUSSELL - RUFEL He married as a RUSSELL twice - his first wife unknown died as he was a widow when he married SUSANNAH KEEPING in 1887 some time after the name changed to RUFFELL He was in the Merchant Navy and he died in Australia in 1899 he was taken ill aboard the Oceanor and taken to Sydney Hospital - he was born some time before 1856 - his fathers name was Charles and he was born in HANTS - he married his 1st wife (unknown) who died some time before 1887 - he married SUSANNAH KEEPING 30th Jan 1887 in Poplar, she came from Southampton (all the children were hers) Susannah appears in the 1901 census as widowed - two of the children were put into the Merchant Seamans Orphanage at Snaresbrook. Susannah died in Romford in 1931.
