Trying to find Dunn

I am trying to trace the ancestors or siblings of William H Dunn born c1832 in Deal, Kent. William was a Master Butcher by trade and his wife's name is Mary and she was born c1840 in Ramsgate, Kent. They had 17 children: Mary (died in infancy), William H, Anne E, Caroline, Rosa, Alfred. Lina N, Harry E, Nelly, Jessie, Frank (my GGGF) Albert E, George, Charlotte A, twins Alice and Elizabeth, and John. By the time of the 1881 census, they had moved from Kent to London (Middx). William died before 1901 as Mary is noted as a widow in the 1901 census. According to the 1901 census, Mary had returned to Ramsgate, and was a hotel telegraphist. She lived in the hotel in Ramsgate with 3 of her daughters, Annie, Jessie and Alice (all unmarried), along with her 5 year old niece May Hunt from Jersey. If anyone can give me any further information about William H Dunn or his wife Mary (and their ancestors), or any of their children, I would be very grateful. |
