Trying to find out the names of my mothers parents. My mother Ada Dorothy Sargent said that she was born in America 29th.July 1910 and came to England around 1920, give or take a couple of years. Her parents split up and she was left with family members (on who's side I do not know) Sargent could have been the name of the family that brought her up and not her birth name. She ran away from home at some point and eventually went into service and then met and married my father Kenneth Walter Gillingwater in 1939 Tottenham area. So is there anyone out there with a family member missing from there tree around this time. |
