Trying to find Whalley

Claire Report 29 Oct 2004 13:14

Trying to trace any relatives on my dads side. Surnames: Whalley, Rawlings, & Ogden My grandad, William Whalley, born c1917, married Vera Rawlings, born c1919, they had 3 children - Phillip, Robert, and Stella, and lived in Stockport where my dad grew up. Grandad passed away c1994. My family is originally from Lancs. Grandad (William Whalley) had 2 brothers - George, and Ernest, and 1 sister Stella, Great aunty Stella is still with us but we lost contact with George. I believe great-uncle Ernie was grandads half brother and his surname was Ogden. Uncle Ernie was married to Betty and they lived in Sale (aunty Betty is still alive and kicking but Ernie unfortunately passed about 12 years ago I think) My dad, Robert Whalley was born in 1948, married Janet Hazell, and had me and my 2 sisters Kay (born 1974) & Lisa (born 1979) Uncle Phillip was born c1944 and I think he married Jennifer who already had a daughter, Anita. Anita sadly died of a drug overdose and left her 2 twin sons: Mark and Phillip, with my Uncle Phillip, I guess the twins would be about 21 now. Aunty Stella was born c1955, never married, and now lives in the Peak District I think. If anyone thinks they may be related to me please email me and I will grant access to my tree... you could be my long-lost cousin! Thanks in advance xx
