Member Since: February 2003 Posts: 0 Send Message	Hi, Im trying to find out about my greatgrandfather , John Lawson,I know he was born in Scotland and served in The Seaforth Highlanders. John was born in 1853. I would love to have any info that might be out there. His wife was called Alice and was born in 1866 , they had 2 daughters and 5 sons all born in various places. 1901 census showed they lived in Penge, South London. My grandmother was born in India. John Lawson was a corpl. in the 2nd bn Regiment of Seaforth Highlanders if thats any help to anyone.
