My great grandfather henry devlin married ellen burrows in belfast n.irelandc 1851 he left with his wife and son patrick b. c1851 and son john b.1853. arriving in liverpool c1855 settled in birkenhead. patrick married mary jane porter .1873 mary jane,s parents were william porter and elizabeth jump,born in liverpool but settled in birkenhead.patrick and mary had sons john b1876. ellen 1881,george1883,charles 1885, edward 1889, margaret 1891, james 1893,alexander (my father) b1895 and mary 1897, all born in birkenhead cheshire.i am trying to find henry devlin and ellen in the 1861 census birkenhead cheshire. |
