Trying to find Hawkes

I am trying to find details of the parents of Thomas Frederick Hawkes b.1846, Warwickshire who married Elizabeth Bourton (Burton) b. 1848, Warwickshire. They married in 1867 in Whitnash, Warwick and so far I know of one child who was also born in Whitnash. She was Amy Elizabeth Hawkes b. 19 May 1872. Amy's siblings were Albert, Thomas, Ernest, William H, Frank, Edith, Ellen and George Ruben who was my Grandfather. I know that George Ruben was born in Knights Town, New Zealand in 1885 and died in Sydney in 1924. I would love to find out more about their lives in the small town of Whitnash in the early 1800's ,eg schools they attended, houses they lived in. churches they attended. Can anyone help me with census information for that area? Thank you...Carole Sim |
