From Colin Riley I am trying to trace the birth of Thomas Joseph Riley circa 184o in Liverpool. He married Isabella Lily West in Dublin on 1/11/1870. He was a cooper by trade and marriage cert shows his father as Patrick a carter. Family moved to Burton upon Trent where my grandfather Walter Augstine Riley was born in 1875. He was aslo a cooper.He married Katherine Blanche Gavagan 31/8/1901 and subsequently moved to Nottingham where my father John Patrick Riley was born. The PRO cannot trace the birth of Thomas Joseph therfore I am stuck at this point. Neither his father nor his mother appears to have attended the wedding so I do not know mother's name. |
