Member Since: January 0001 Posts: 0 Send Message	I am trying to find details of Ashtons of Scotland. My maternal grandmother was Margaret Ashton, born about 1874 somewhere in Scotland. She married my grandfather, Archibald Baxter and my mother, Elizabeth Lottie Ashton Baxter was born in 1899. They lived in the shipbuilding areas of Clydebank, Dalmuir and Dunoon. In the 1930's they ran a shop and cafe in the main street in Lesmahagow, leaving there about 1938. Any information or guesses would be welcome. Vernon Hardy
