my mothers maiden name was hill first names catherine mary born 6 june 1924 in brockley london brothers james 1920 and john 1930ish sister elizabeth 1934 fathers name james william hill born around 1870 served in royal fuseliers died in the 1950s the family used to holiday in whitsable in kent every year my mum was in the land army they lived in dagenham in essex and my grandmother was a catholic and she came from holborn in london and was a milk delivery lady and a midwife during the first world war she had a brother called william lee who worked on the presses on the daily mirror help please kathy langmead |
