CHARLOTTE CLAYTON was my husband's grandmother, born in 1885 in Aston Birmingham. Her parents were William Frederick CLAYTON born in Harborne Birmingham in 1857, occupation Smiths striker , father Frederick. Her mother was Emily LAWLEY, born 1864, Birmingham (family connections with Stourport Worcs, father a painter). I have the family in 1891, in Birmingham where Charlottte was 5 and known as Lottie, but no luck with 1901, or finding William Frederick in 1881. Any suggestions re census or any connections would be welcome. I'm really stuck with this one. Thanks, Pam
