Hi Lindy Ann
I have a family of Barretts from Southowram Halifax.
My grandmother was Annie Stone who became Annie Stonebarrett after she was adopted by her aunt and uncle Charles Barrett and Jane Barrett.
Charles had a brother John b1851.
Annie was one of six brothers and sisters who all took the name of either Stonebarrett or Stone Barrett.

my adoptive name is Amanda Joanne Moncrieff,brought up by very loving parents in Sheffield,S.Yorkshire.However i was born LINDY ANN BARRETT-an unusual name-in HALIFAX.2nd April,1973.... i would like to know if their is anyone who might have any information for me regarding this-Thankyou.
