Hello Jane,
Just scanning through some of the older messages posted & thought it worth a reply to see if we have similar family details.
We have a George WADE b abt 1837
Lambeth/London married Mary Anne WALSH 1862 Guernsey. 1864 they migrated to Sydney,Aus.on Sirocco.
George's father George WADE, mother
Sarah Farnell or Garnell.as stated on his marriage certificate.Also on marriage cert.
it stated father deceased & mother in Aus.No birth or marriage details for parents.
Have not been able to trace Sarah in Australia, she may have remarried.
Have not been able to find George snr death record.
Do any of these details present in your
history?
I have all descendants from George & Mary Anne in NSW,Australia, but am trying to trace ancestors of George.

I am trying to find ancestors of William Wade bc 1811 who arrived in Adelaide, Sth Aust in 1839 on the ship Resource with his wife (Charlotte ?) and son John bc 1836/7. His residence in the UK at the time of departure was Barnwell, Northhamptonshire and I believe his son John was born in Oundle, Northhamptonshire. I have details of the descendants of William who are distributed throughout Sth Aust, NSW, Vic and NZ. Would love to hear from anyone who may be connected.
