Looking for info on Evelyn Neufeld. b.1880/1 in Egypt. Father Charles b. Germany Mother Charlotte Emma Netherton b. Stretford. Manchester. Charles was a prisoner in Sudan for 12 years. Charlotte worked as a hospital matron in Northwich and Evelyn also worked at the hospital when she was older. On Charles release in 1899 they both went to Egypt and returned to London with him. He spent the next couple of years lecturing in England and Germany. He later returned to Egypt. What happened to Charlotte and Evelyn. The story which has come down the family is that they did not return with him but I can find no trace of them. Can anyone help? |
