If you put a search in for Burness family History you should find lots of Burness's. If you don't find the one you're looking for, at least someone may have an idea who she may have been. best of luck Nancy

Member Since: April 2003 Posts: 4 Send Message	Still trying to find any news of Violet Margaret Burness (Maiden name unknown) who was married to Henry Godfrey Burness circa 1940. Henry died in WWII apparently with no children from the marriage. Violet Margaret went on to marry Thomas Shaw who was in the Royal Navy, there may have been children from this marriage. They divorced before 1949 when Thomas remarried. I am unable to get any further as i cannot find Violet's maiden name and the only names mentioned over the years (regarding the children) may have been Harry or Lavinia. I wish this these names would ring a bell with someone. If so please email disleyprint at aol dot com. Many Thanks
