Hello! I am trying to trace my Grimshaw line. Have only managed to get back to my paternal GGrandfather so far. His name was John Grimshaw and he married Ann Buckley. They had my Grandfather John Roland Grimshaw, who was born in Styal area of Cheshire in 1874. He was baptized in Pott Shrigley, Cheshire. He was a tea Agent and he married Ada Wilson in 1910 and they had 5 sons, one of whom, the eldest, was my father also John Roland Grimshaw! Please contact me if you can help!

Hi Dorinda,
Would one of the other sons by chance be John Wood GRIMSHAW born 1888 @ Walkden, Manchester, England?
The reason I ask this is that he too had a son called John Roland GRIMSHAW born in 1931 in New Zealand.
This family is part of my One Name study in New Zealand of the GRIMSHAW surname.

Regards,
David
