DOROTHY STURROCK - who was a year old when the 1901 census was conducted - was adopted by my great-great-great grandfathers brother ARTHUR MCKAY and his wife EMMA MCKAY. In 1901 DOROTHY was living with them in LONDON, where she was also born. If anyone knows anything about this woman I would be grateful to hear ANY info about the family. The McKays are close ancestors of mine but due to destruction of family property because of the war we have no pictures or info on them at all. It would be lovely to hear from someone who is related to them or knew about them in any way! Thankyou for your time, -Kat |
