Trying to find Cowper

I am seeking relatives of one Percy Cowper. I have letters he wrote to May Packwood during the Great War. There are also letters from a pte Benton who was killed in action.
My husband is 86 and appears to have no living relatives apart from me, and I would like to find some. He has an army of forebears, so there must be some I can contact.
sincerely

ANNE COWPER (nee Blain) b.1843 Whitehaven, Cumbria. Does anyone know anything about her? She was married to Robert Blain in Stockton, Durham and York 16/04/1864. Her father was Peter Cowper, and she may have had a brother called Matthew (probably other brothers and sisters too, knowing the size of families in those days!) Anyone got any info?
