I am not sure whether I would be able to help you but am willing to open my tree. It is the name Green which fascinates me because I have a memorial service sheet for a Florence Green which was saved by my husband's mother May (nee Packwood) I am trying to find any living relatives of my elderly husband Rev, George Harry Packwood Thompson and wonder if there was a family connection with Green and was unable to find one. My husband's Thompsons were almost all coal miners or show makers/cordwainers, so do not let the title put you off! I have not finished entering the finds on my tree yet due to problems with flooding from the attic tank.

Hi Thompson was my name before I married. I am looking for any information about my grandfather William Thompson. He died in 1926 or very close to that in Bedlington Northumberland. He used to play for Newcastle between 1880/90 and was a 100mtr runner, I have been told that he ran in Bedlington. He had 6 sons Samual, Robert (Bob) Norman, Randolph, and my father Joseph, I dont know the other brothers name. Any information would be helpful. I can not find any thing out because he and my grandmother were not married due to the fact that she could not find her 1st husband to divorce him he left after only a few weeks after marrying her. Her name was Margaret Ann Green, her fathers name was samual Green and acoal hewer at the mine. Elizabeth
