My ggggrandfather Thomas ADDISON married Sarah PLUMMER in 1801 at St Leonard's in Shoreditch. He had a grinding mill and was described as a cutler with business in Dorrington Street Clerkewell. They had at least two sons, one Thomas Plummer ADDISON b abt 1803 my gggrandfather who immigrated to South Australia in 1838 and another Robert. The name Thomas Plummer ADDISON, in Free BDM born in Lambeth 1843 and marriage in Hackney in 1872. We know nothing of Thomas' origins, although family legend suugests he may have come from Kent, or family history after my gggrandfather left for South Australia.
