Oooh, yes please Mike. I know I will never be able to get out there. Please would you be able to take a photo of my Nan's cousins grave. I will copy and paste his details from the CWGC site, as it will probably be easier for you - Name: RIDDLE, JOSEPH ROBERT Initials: J R Nationality: United Kingdom Rank: Private Regiment/Service: Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry Unit Text: 2nd (Airborne) Bn. Age: 21 Date of Death: 24/03/1945 Service No: 6031328 Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead Grave/Memorial Reference: Coll. grave 35. E. 5-8. Cemetery: REICHSWALD FOREST WAR CEMETERY He did so much, so young. From landing at Normandy and fighting his way across Europe, only to be shot while he was parachuting into the Rhine, just 2 months before the end of the War. He was an East End boy, born and bred in Canning Town. Instead of joining the Essex Regiment like his brother, and his Dad and Uncles in WW1, he joined the elite Ox and Bucks. They were hero's, each and every one. Sandra x

Hi Mike

Although I have sent you a personal email thanking you for the wonderful photo's, I would like to put a public thank you too.

Thank You so much for doing something I could never do, it does mean the world to me and my family - to whom I have sent prints to, to see the final resting place of Our Joey.

Another, somewhat belated, public thank you (albeit like the others, private thanks have been sent). Folks like you are 'wee gems'.
