John Lane married 30th June 1754 South Elmham St Cross To Mary Breath. (From Later Day Saints Site)

Pauline,
If you still have what you say you have re Parish Records on CD, You will no doubt be able to help me.

I have been looking into my family for some 3 years and have discovered recently that my (Huntingfield Suffolk) Lane family may origanated from South Elmham. What an odd set of villages!!!! All with the same name but ending with different Saints names. Anyway, The above info represents the brother and his wife of Jonathan Lane my ggggg? grandfather who settled in Huntingfield c 1750.( I have the parish fiche)
I was wondering if John after his marriage to Mary lived the village and that children might be present in the Parish Record.
Now I know both John and brother Jonathan were born in Earsham nr Bungay but I have worked out that their father was married in South Elmham St Nicholas 15 April 1723. ( John Lane married Mary Poppie).
Also a sister to John and Jonathan was christened in South Elmham St James in 1728.

All a little confusing I know but if you can help in anyway I would be extreamly greatful as I live in Lancashire. Quite a treck to the record office in Ipswich.....never been ....yet!!!!!
Regards
Bryan Lane
