Hi Cheryl, This is a great web site that I have used a couple of times looking for my relatives in grave yards. Have a look at it and see if the lady in Suffolk is any where near the Village you are looking for. http://www*.raogk.org/index*.html take out the **. Mea.

Hi, Many Memorial inscriptions have been recorded by Suffolk Family History Society and there are also copies in the county record office. It may be worth emailing the county record office to see if they have been recorded. Many inscriptions that old are barely legible (if they exist at all). Do you have a plot number for the graves? It's almost impossible to find gravestones in large churchyards without a plot number and a map. Gwynne

Would someone in Suffolk be kind enough to visit St. Mary Anglican in Stoke by Nayland and see what details are on the graves of my gt. gt. grandparents James Chippington buried 9/6/1840 and his wife Susan Chippington buried 10/03/1849. Many Thanks Cherryl in NZ
