In 1891 I have the following family Grimt, Caroline, 1, Cornforth, Durham, Granddaughter, Tudhoe, Durham Parrott, Alfred, 15, Low Spennymoor, Durham, Son , Tudhoe , Durham Parrott, Ann, 49, Laceby, Lincolnshire, Head , Tudhoe , Durham Parrott, Benjamin, 21, Mount Plesant, Durham, Son , Tudhoe , Durham Parrott, Caroline, 23, Beverley, Yorkshire, Daughter , Tudhoe , Durham Problem – I have no idea whose child Caroline G is. Found possible birth record Grint, Caroline Emma, 1889, December quarter, Stockton (covered Cornforth at that time) Searched on 1901 and found Catherine Emma Griset, 11, Hetton Colly, Durham, England, Niece, Tudhoe Durham Living with 60 year old Hannah Paviett (should be Parrott) born Lincolnshire Source information: RG13/4680 Registration district: Durham Sub-registration district: St Oswald ED, institution, or vessel: 45 Folio: 98 Page: 10 Household schedule number: 63 Ah, you say, but that record is for Catherine and you were looking for Caroline but the name seems interchangeable in this family as this is them in 1881 Alfred Parrott, abt 1876 , Tudhoe, Durham, England, Son , Tudhoe Ann Parrott, abt 1841 , Laceby, Lincoln, England, Head , Tudhoe Binjamin Parrott, abt 1871 , Tudhoe, Durham, England, Son , Tudhoe Catherine Parrott, abt 1867 , Birkly, Yorkshire, England, Daughter , Tudhoe Mary Ann Parrott, abt 1869 , Tudhoe, Durham, England, Daughter , Tudhoe William Parrott, abt 1865 , Laceby, Lincoln, England, Son , Tudhoe Next problem – I have no idea who Hannah Parrott from 1901 is either unless she is Ann Parrott. But does that make Miss C Grint her niece or granddaughter? Please help, my brains have turned to semolina Beth All input greatly appreciated |

That would be lovely Johnathon, thanks very much. I might actually find out where Caroline/Catherine was born then; every census has a different variation but it starts with B and ends in Y Beth :)) |

Not a clue where she is, dead or alive. Perhaps she joined the convent LOL. Now that would be a first in my tree Beth :) |
