marriage certicate reading

Ihave got my fathers birthcertificate. Just got my grandmothers name Muriel freda colston (nee curtis) and adress 54 weldale street reading 1935 is there any way i can trace a marriage with this information. Thanks

Whose marriage are you trying to find, your grandmothers? You could search the GRO indexes, starting just before the birth of your father (assuming he was the eldest) and working backwards. You can do this for free at a County Records Office or large library, or online at 1837online although this is pay per view. Sam

Yes, But you need 1837online I'm afraid. A pay per view site ... 40p per year. Minimum £5 of credit required ... but you WILL need it and use it in the future !! Good Luck Elaine :-)
