Can anyone help me is there a name index for the London 1851 Census if there is can sonme kind person look up Emma Maygood Thanks in adavance |

Hi Melvyn There is a London 1851 census name index on microfiche at the FRC in London, but it is indexed by borough of London and Bethnal Green, Stepney, Poplar and Spitalfields are the only areas that have not yet been indexed. You'd have to ask if someone lives near the FRC asking what area your Emma lived in and see if she is one there at all. Ben |
