Have located a family on the 1851 in St Brides, West London, desperate to see if same family is in St Brides area on the 1841. Family is Edward Snelgrove ... would be 38 in 1841. Don't know wifes name yet, a childs birth cert has been ordered this morning ... Have one daughter that I know off who would be 10 - 15 in 1841, Elizabeth Snelgrove born St Brides. Can anyone help please ? Elaine :-) I'll be in and out most of the day. 1841 ♥ FOUND, thanks to Pat GR ♥ |

Thanks Lyla & Laird ....I'll go and check out the IGI again ...I did find an Elizabeth Snelgrove born to Edward & Harriet ... but I wasn't sure about the dates. Sending for Sarah's birth cert this morning should sort out any further queries about who Mum is ! ..... but its 2 - 3 weeks for certs at the moment. Lyla, I'll go and have a nosey around the IGI again .... Elizabeth and her husband Henry T Pennell DID have a daughter Harriet ... so ..... Thanks ... and Laird, fingers crossed that you do eventually get the disc's you bought. Elaine :-) |

IGI has revealed the following: Elizabeth Snelgrove b 1828 St Ann Blackfriars Edward SneLLgrove b 1833 St Sepulchre Robert Edward SneLLgrove b 5/4/1839 ch 21/1/1840 St Brides All three have parents Edward & Harriet ... but the surnames are spelt differently ... I think that if Edward & Harriet are together in St Brides on the 1841 with all THREE children, especially Elizabeth, then I would happily accept them as my family. ! Here's hoping ! Lyla, are you offering to check the 1841 disc's or the IGI for me sweetheart ? I'm getting quite excited but then re read your reply ! Elaine :-) |

Thank you Lyla, I may add the names I found ... just to see IF they are siblings ... but I doubt the two boys are part of my Edward & Harriet ... Pat has just offered to carry on looking for the lads but I've asked her not to waste her time. Thank you BOTH ... your magic! Elaine :-) |
