David Balharrie & Isabella Alexander

I am trying to place the parents of David Balharrie (maybe Balharry or Beharrie). They had a son David Balharry b. 1813 Dundee Angus d 1883 Ivergowrie. The son David married Janet Paul in 1836 and had 11 children. I would very much like to make the connection on the marriage date of David and Isabella, would expect c. 1812. I have the marriage and death records that confirm David and Isabella as the parents but cannot trace any further data on them. I would expect them to be in or around Dundee, almost certainly in Angus. Many thanks for any help. Alistair Balharrie

Georgina, Many thanks for the help. This family link is proving a problem. I have three children for David and Isabella. David, William and Elizabeth. My struggle is finding the parents of their father David to prove his link into my tree. This has become a real barrier. Alistair

I hadn't....but just have . Thanks. It has much of the data I have.....same barrier.....who was Davids parents. The information must be out there somewhere.... Many thanks Alistair
