Looking for a John Newby born in 1840 in Barnard Castle, Durham. Have also seen it come under Bishop Auckland, Durham in 1 census. |

Hi, I am looking for the one born in 1840, just wanted to say thank you for what Jonathon found anyway, and there may be a connection later. I have looked on Ancestry and found the information on there, found John Newby born in 1840 but was hoping to go back further with him and find his family, parents etc. |

I have found Mary on all 4 censuses and although it was crossed out on that one, the rest say Barningham, Yorks. I think someone misread it on the 1881 census as saying Birmingham and so changed it to Warkickshire. I believe they are the same people though x |

I know it is a strange onw but in 1891 she is thje right age again and from Barnigham and with John and her 2 youngest children x |
