I am Looking for the births & marriage,of :THOMAS VANDERPEER & CHRISTIAN ? HARRISON. Marriage around 1820 in Sheerness. On the Mormon site their children were all christened at Bethel Chapel Union Street-Independent, Sheerness.Would this have been the place of marriage as well????????.Any help appreciated,Eunice

Hi Eunice, If you think the marriage may have took place at this 'church' then consulting the parish registers is may be your best bet,as no civil registration took place before this,so unless anyone has them of this church that is your only option I can think of, kay.

Hi Eunice Could find nothing on marriage but found this on BIVR index thought unusual name so may have some relevance. Also possible Christain’s christenings. Many thanks Kay & Maureen,Info may be helpful at a later date.I have just found a few minutes ago,a mistranscribed? death of a Thomas VANDERHEER in 1855 in Sheppey. But unfortunately it does not give his age at death.If anyone could find him on the 1851 census,it would be a great help regards his age and place of birth.Grateful thanks,Eunice
